Löscht Zeichen rechts oder links einer Zeichenkette bis zu einem Zeichen, das nicht in der Liste angegeben ist. "set" ist standartmäßig auf ein Leerzeichen gesetzt.

Beispiel:

SELECT RTRIM(ename, 'ES')

FROM emp;

Ergebnis:

RTRIM(ename, 'ES')

SMITH

ALLEN

JON

................

(In DB ist "JONES")
